Within de Gournay, Cécile Gay has been fully involved in the creation of this project called Bruissement designed in collaboration with Raphael Navot. The whole wallpaper collections of this English company are hand made.

She managed the first iconographical researches mainly draw from Chinese art and more precisely from the prints and ink drawings from the 11th century. In permanent touch with Raphael Navot, she has done the first sketches of the design composition of the curtains, inspired by an argentic photography taken by Raphael. Playing with the layering, the transparency of the organza fabric and the ink dilution to create depth, Cécile has created the first painting samples of these fabrics. As well, for the screen, the abstract pattern painted onto crackled Xuan paper was developed by her in link with the de Gournay workshop. She was giving the instructions to the workshop’s painters based in China, according to the choices of the designer Raphael Navot, all with the Jemma Cave's advices, the de Gournay artistic director. Cécile Gay was managing the project until the first installation for AD intérieurs exhibition in September 2016.
